I've been a little obsessed about platforms lately. Have you seen the summer collections out there? Gorgeous I tell ya! Here are my recent favorites:

Tuesday Ruffles

I had a blast spending time with my college friends in Savannah, Georgia for Easter weekend. We stayed at the Foley House Inn, the most adorable bed and breakfast.  Everything about it was just stunning, and you really get a sense of history. I'm such a history buff, it was interesting to learn about a home that was built in the 1860s. The service (and the food) was impeccable and I definitely recommend staying there if you are ever in that part of town.

Outfit Picks:: The girls and I didn't miss out on all the Easter weekend sales. Although we stayed in the historic district, we were only a few miles away from a number of shopping centers and malls. I purchased some great pieces this weekend and wore one of my favorites today to work. Love the lavender ruffles! I have very little of this color in my closet.

Weekend road trip.

A friend and I are planning a road trip this weekend and I can't wait! Not sure why I actually enjoy driving long distances and stopping every few hours for a potty break or snacks...but hey, I guess it's my thing! We will be meeting a group of friends. One special little lady just got engaged and we have some secret and exciting activities planned.Can't wait!

Happy Tax Day!

While many of you have long received your refund checks in the mail and enjoying the extra mulaaahh, I was one of thoes Americans, who waited until the last possible moment to collect all my W-2's, 1099's, etc. and file on the deadline. Except, my case is a little more PATHETIC. I didn't file myself. I had my accountant do it. He knows me so well that he scheduled an appointment for this very same day a year ago :) Gosh, I love that man! Hopefully he penciled me in for 2012.

The Perfect Pump

I knew I needed a new pair of black pumps for a few months now, but I've been putting off the purchase. I have a million black shoes that could step in and replace the classic black pump, and honestly, I just didn't see any that I couldn't live without!

I was thinking about purchasing the Henri by Jessica Simpson. However, after reading Vernonika's open letter to JS, I pushed that idea to the side. This is why I love blogging. Learning from other's mistakes can really prevent heartache. I absolutely hate spending money on items, only to throw 'em out a month later. When it comes to shoes....quality is key. I was tempted to purchase the perfect pump at Ann Taylor, after reading Extra Petite, but instantly feel in love with a pair at Nine West last weekend. Style name: Vexo. I feel so hard for these pumps, I also purchased them in camel. lol. Can't wait to wear them to work!
