Out of Office

The best thing about work travel is the opportunity to explore the world and meet interesting and successful people. The worst is being too busy that you no longer have time to connect with everyone else. No complaints here. My office view is currently the pool and the beautiful blue/green water along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

See you in two weeks (or sooner)! ;)

Weekend Wear OOTD: Chambray + Leopard

The weather dipped into the 60s this past weekend, which allowed me to finally wear a pair of boots!  This is only the 4th time I've been able to wear boots this season [INSERT SAD FACE]. I think we would all agree that I would look a little foolish prancing around in riding boots in 80-degree weather. LOL. I had a few errands to run, and decided to grab my "go-to" leopard scarf, which always adds a bit of something to any outfit.

Blouse: Old Navy (similar), Jeans: Zara (similar), Scarf: H&M (Similar),
Boots: Nine West (similar), Bracelets: Alex & Ani (purchase)

Note: Sorry about the dark photos - the lighting was horrible!

What's your "go-to" clothing item this season?

Sale Alert: Up to 70% Off at Nine West

I'm a huge Nine West fan. Especially because I tend to find some great items during sales and luckily I live close to an outlet store where prices are very generous. Most of their shoes are great quality and I love that they offer a wide selection for both work and play!

I have good news! Nine West is continuing their "Up to 70% off" sale and there are a ton of gorgeous shoes available at great prices. Wait, there's more! It looks like shipping is FREE for a limited time. If you haven't already, take a peek at their site. In just a few days I noticed that the selection of sizes available are thinning.

Although I'm probably the last person who should be buying new shoes, I couldn't let this sale [and FREE shipping] pass me by. Today I quickly put these two shoes into my shopping cart and clicked on the purchase button!

Style Name: "AroundTown" (Teal)
Original Price: $99 Sale Price: $29.70

Style Name: "Mega"
(Natural Leather)
Original Price: $99 Sale Price: $49.50

What do you think about Nine West shoes? Will you be participating in the New Year sale?

The Collar Necklace

What a brilliant idea! It makes a statement and can JAZZY-UP any outfit. [Did I really use that word?]  Seriously! I've seen several women pair with a basic white tee and you would've thought they were heading out to dinner at a nice restaurant. Well, maybe not quite, but you get my drift. Here are a few of my favorite collar necklaces I spotted online:

1. Coil Collar Necklace $29
2. Textured Plaque Collar Necklace $55
3. Rufous Collar Necklace $26
4. Clear Crystal/Hematite Collar Necklace $78
5. Crystal Snake Collar Necklace $70
6. "Love Sparkle" Glitter Collar $75
7. Enamel Collar Necklace $55
8. Chain Mail Pan Collar Necklace $16

What do you think about the trend? Do you own a collar necklace?

Snapshots: NailPolish Favs + FREE Zoya Polish

Sometimes a little color on my nails is what I need to complete an outfit. I've been obsessed with Shallac and from now on, that's my go-to nail procedure at the salon. I still love to paint my own nails in between visits and have a few favorite colors I wanted to share:

Left to right:

Essie's Lacquered Up (#678) - The color is bright and candy apple red. Adds a burst of color to any LBD.

Revlon's Peach Smoothie (#345) - Not only is the polish a beautiful and muted alternative to pink, it's scented and smells more like vanilla bean vs. peaches (a plus in my opinion).

CVS Semi-Annual Sale - I picked up these three bottles of Revlon polishes at CVS during the holidays for only $1.37ea. Purchased Orange Pop (#365) Temptress (#168), and Peach Smoothie (#345).

Revlon's Temptress (#168) - A baby pink with a little kick. After one coat of polish, its true color was screaming! May not be appropriate for work, but I got quite a few complements when I wore it on New Year's Eve!
